PRP treatments

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The sample is processed to concentrate platelets, which contain growth factors. PRP is used in some treatments for skin and hair concerns; evidence and expected benefits vary by procedure. For certain types of hair loss, PRP may be injected into the scalp to support hair growth. It is not suitable for every cause of hair loss and may involve a series of treatments.

Understanding your options

What it may help with.

PRP concentrates platelets from your own blood. It is used in some skin and scalp procedures; expected benefits and evidence depend on the particular use.

Planning your visit

What to expect.

A blood sample is collected and processed. Some plans involve injections and a series of visits. Not every cause of hair loss is appropriate for PRP. Discuss the diagnosis, alternatives, and realistic expectations with the clinical team.

Care starts with an assessment.

A qualified supervising clinician reviews your medical history and suitability and authorizes the treatment plan. Margaret Fudo, RN, delivers your care under that plan. Benefits, risks, preparation, and aftercare are discussed before treatment. Results vary.

New clients receive 20% off their first eligible appointment. Unlimited Tox is excluded; neurotoxin discounts require at least 30 units. June provides current pricing and applicable fees, rewards terms, and booking policies.

A plan based on your concern.

PRP preparation involves a blood draw and processing your own blood. The method of application depends on the planned procedure. Bruising, discomfort, bleeding, and infection are possible. For hair concerns, identifying the cause of hair loss matters; a series and maintenance may be discussed, with no guaranteed response. Ask about the evidence for your proposed use and alternatives.
